Hello,

you could download the current TurboPrint 1.95-2 which is also available as a .deb package for Ubuntu - installation can be done with a simple double click.

There is already a driver in TurboPrint 1.95-2. The driver is not yet officially in the list as the iP1200 is not available here in Germany and has not been thoroughly tested.

If you install this driver we would appreciate your feedback.

Sound a bit like something I experienced: If the reset line of the printer is drawn permanently while the computer is on (defective parallel port or cable), the printer will look like switched off (all LEDs off).
