if you installed the .tgz archive, please execute the "uninstall" script in the archive, e.g.

cd turboprint-1.94-4
sudo ./uninstall

If you installed the .deb, please use

sudo apt-get uninstall turboprint

The ip5300 doesn't work with the ip5200 driver - a new driver is being developed.

this is no problem. You will receive a license key file which is not dependend on a specific computer hardware and can be used again if you install PrintFab on your new Mac.

...and the application you printed from (e.g. GIMP, OpenOffice)?
It would also be interesting if the result is the same when printing from different applications.

We had a similiar problem in the past which disappeared when upgrading the Linux distribution. It may depend on the application and/or version of ghostscript.

With the Canon i860 the maximum print resolution without logo is 300dpi. You can choose print quality/resolution in TurboPrint Config / command line "xtpconfig".

Note: Problem with print settings being ignored when printing from GIMP was present in CUPS 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 and is fixed in 1.2.3

Additional Note: Another problem with colors being modified by GIMP's (or actually Gutenprint's) Postscript Level 2 driver is fixed in Gutenprint 5.0.0rc2.
