Re: Canon PIXMA Pro 200

The Canon PIXMA Pro-100 driver doen't work for the Pro-200 printer. We have found that the Canon PIXMA Pro-200, Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-300 and most current Canon imagePROGRAF printers share the same printer command language, so chances are good that you can use your Pro-200 printer with the existing...

Re: ET 2811 epson

Hello,

we will add a driver for the ET-2811 printer (driver name will be "ET-2810 series") in the next PrintFab release.

In the current PrintFab release, you can use the printer driver "Epson EcoTank ET-2710" instead.

Re: No USB option for standard printer port

Depending on the Linux distribution, the filename "55-ippusbxd.rules" for the rule may be different. Please open a terminal window and enter the command ls /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/*ipp* This should return the name of the rule file, e.g. "/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/71-ipp-usb.rules" Uuse...

Re: No USB option for standard printer port

The problem is that the "driverless" system driver has grabbed your printer ("EPSON XP-8600 Series (driverless)") - printing should normally work, however it does not seem to be very reliable. The USB driver tries to access the printer but it is not released by driverless ("...

Re: No USB option for standard printer port

Hello laoe, probably your usb printer is blocked via the "driverless" system? Did you try to deactivate it as shown in previous posts? What Linux system have you installed? What do you mean with "sudo /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb, and sudo /usr/lib/cups/backend/tpu gives same result as i...

Re: Epson WF-7710 Cyan tinge on all Photos

Hello, I am sorry that you are not getting the desired results. Colors should be neutral when using Epson inks, with compatible inks the grey balance might be wrong. Two questions: Are you using the TurboPrint driver "Epson WorkForce WF-7710" or "WF7710 HQ"? Are you using origina...

Re: Canon iP90 ink levels...

Hello, the ink level is controlled only by the printer firmware and should be updated automatically by the printer when you install new cartridges. The ink level that is shown by TurboPrint Control and TurboPrint Monitor is the ink level that is reported by the printer. TurboPrint cannot reset the i...

Re: Creating Digital Negatives

Hello, you are right, density for digital negatives is best with pigmented black ink. To print with pigmented black ink, you have to select "Plain Paper" - this is a limitation of the iX6850 firmware. Unfortunately the Canon firmware also limits ink amounts in the setting "Plain Paper...

Hello, the best way to get better output is to create a new color profile, e.g. with our color profile creation service. Here are the basic steps: 1. In the "TurboPrint Color" application, open the dialog "Profiles" 2. Add a new profile entry (one profile for each paper you want ...
