the PhotoSmart 7100 series and the PhotoSmart C7180 are different printers. However, both have the same command language, so the driver will probably work (printing only, the scanner is not be supported).

Does a ping from this computer to your print server work ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx should report reply times until you press ctrl+c.
