However, it is in the list of TurboPrint's printer setup tool "TurboPrint Setup" (command line "xtpsetup").

only external profiles in RGB or CMYK format are supported, the driver has a fixed conversion CMYK => CMYKRB.

CMYK and RGB lead to the same gamut - see also our PDF manual, page 46. We recommend RGB as a higher precision can be achieved with less color patches.

I experienced no such problem on our Ubuntu 6.10 installations. Does it help to select a different printer driver so that the dialog doesn't come up any more?

there is actually a problem with too much ink being applied on profile test charts with the R800. We will provide a fix soon. I could not recreate the "blank page" problem with the current PrintFab 2.05 - which PrintFab version are you using?

Please post the last section of /var/log/turboprint_cups.log after trying to print borderless.

matte black is used for plain paper and matte inkjet paper, glossy black is used for glossy paper (I will check if the status fields for matte black and gloss black have been exchanged in TurboPrint Config).

Red and Blue are actually used but only for very vibrant colors.

If you try to print from GIMP, please enable the checkmark "show all page sizes".

you could download the current TurboPrint 1.95-2 which is also available as a .deb package for Ubuntu - installation can be done with a simple double click.

the "PrintFab Home" version only prints up to 9inches wide - maybe this is the reason.

There is already a driver in TurboPrint 1.95-2. The driver is not yet officially in the list as the iP1200 is not available here in Germany and has not been thoroughly tested.
