Has nothing to do with our drivers

Sound a bit like something I experienced: If the reset line of the printer is drawn permanently while the computer is on (defective parallel port or cable), the printer will look like switched off (all LEDs off).

Yes, in the free version of TurboPrint only the lowest print quality can be used without a "TurboPrint" logo being added. Low print quality will not produce deep black and brilliant colors. However you can test higher print quality by selecting it in TurboPrint Config (of course in this ca...

I will check the head alignment procedure. (Note: it is also possible to do the alignment from the Windows driver - the alignment values are stored in the printer). The ink check will not work as long as there is a "stuck" print job from the alignment process in the print queue. It should ...

Nothing is known yet. It may be caused by the OS X updater if it works again after a new installation of PrintFab.

This may be the case if there is no black cartridge in the printer - black is grey (mixed out of cyan, magenta & yellow ink). Which kind of paper do you print on - plain paper or matte inkjet paper or glossy inkjet paper?

Hello!

The print queue is stopped if an error occurs. There are several possible reasons, but it might be a network problem. You could try to switch to a different network protocol, e.g. "Socket".

Also you could post /var/log/cups/error_log after this happens.

Hello,

thank you for the feedback!

1. will be solved by a status monitor daemon - we are working on it

2. no simple solution is known. It might be possible to set a status text string that is displayed in the Windows print queue window. I will think about it.
