Color Question, Archlinux on Canon Pixma Pro9000 mk2

I have installed TurboPrint on my Archlinux distro. It is printing black text correctly. I am using the trial version for evaluation of this software. When printing a color photo, there seems to be no control of the color adjustment. Is this because I'm using the trial version or do I have to continue to play the the colorspace and profile settings?

Thankyou,

B Kuhl

Hello,

what do you mean by "there seems to be no control of the color adjustment"? Printed colors are not correct or color settings in TurboPrint have no effect?

Colors should be almost correct when you select the correct paper (e.g. "Plain paper" or "Canon Photo Paper Pro") and the correct color space (e.g. "sRGB"). Additional corrections are possible in TurboPrint Control, tab "Color" and "Correction". Please note that you can make default settings in TurboPrint Control which can be adjusted in the application print dialog, i.e. the settings in the application print dialog take priority.
