Kububtu edgy - Check ink quantity

Post by pecb »

I've installed turboprint in Kubuntu edgy for a canon ip4000, using both the deb and the tgz file. Everything works except I cannot access the check ink option in the toolbox section of xtpconfig. I am using sudo xtpconfig. This box is greyed out, all the others e.g. nozzle check are ok and work.

In answer to my previous post, I have managed to get the check ink quantity box to work by installing an older version of Turboprint i.e. turboprint-1.94-4.tgz. This version works ok for me but not the latest build, turboprint-1.95-1, which I've tried several times with both deb and tgz versions of this file. This is puzzling me as I've found this to be a brilliant product so far. Perhaps I'm missing something that is required for this version of turboprint.

I have the same problem with a Canon i865. I'm using Ubuntu 6.10.

Hello, there was an ink status problem with TurboPrint 1.95-1 & Ubuntu, this is fixed in TurboPrint 1.95-2.
