Moving from RedHat to Ubuntu

This weekend I had to move from my old Red Hat Client to Ubuntu. I tried to re-install the turboprint rpm, but Ubuntu was not having it. So I downloaded the debian version of turboprint. This installed, but it wouldn't recognise my key file. My original version on RedHat was 1.94-4 and I had upgraded on Redhat to 2.04-1 apparenlty using my old key. The down load for debeian is 2.12-1.

Have I got to buy a new license because I moved platforms?

Hello,

yes, I recommend to upgrade to TurboPrint 2.x - upgrades are available from EUR 17.95 in our online shop www.turboprint.info -> link "Buy online".

TurboPrint 2 has been updated for use with current Linux distributions and has many new features, e.g. a printer status monitor with print preview.
