Connection lost after some time

Within a few days my connection with my Pixma MP620 is lost.
I have to delete the printer and select it again to be able to print again.
Sometimes it takes a week, another time it takes just one day.

After the re-instalation everything works fine, but it's not very convenient.

I'm printing in a network.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

is your MP620 printer connected via network?
Can you please check wether a different "URI" is visible in TurboPrint Control Center after deleting and reinstalling the printer?

If the "URI" is the same, reinstalling should not change anything except starting the print queue if it was stopped - you can do the same in TurboPrint Monitor.

Please also send the following information:

- your Linux distribution and version
- the "URI" as displayed in TurboPrint Control Center, column "URI"

Thanks for your reply.
My answers are in the quote.

To be complete with the story: I allways put my PC in pause mode when I stop. Only now and then I shut it down totally. I can't tell you if the connection is lost after a total reboot. Didn't try that, but I will when the connection is gone the next time.
Still I think it shouldn't lose the connection in pause mode either.

OK, it's bin a while, but is there a possibility to get an answer for my problem?
After rebooting the connection is most of the time gone as well.

Thanks,
