Printer not connected to USB port

I tried turboprint 2.30 on Archlinux and my printer is a Canon MP600.
My printer was detected fine. The URI is tpu://Canon/MP600 and "Other" was selected for "Choose port". TP-USB didn't appear on the list. But when I tried to print a tests page, TP print monitor showed 8% of the page then stopped saying that the printer was not connected to USB port.
I edited /etc/turboprint/system.cfg and there was no line "USB_MODE=0" so I added it but then my printer was not recognised at all ! What esle can I do???
