Align PixmaiP4600 problem

Post by wandborg »

Hi,
I have problem when aligning my Pixma iP4600, I am doing i as it say that i should.
But when i am printing the picture is blurred.
So then i did it the other way around and got the picture better but still blurred.

The print shows very small squares so its hard to see the stripes all-right.

And to another thing the Align print head tool have a fault in the last pop up
It say that you should fill in Sections 97 to 101 from -5 to +5 and Section 102 to 106 -3 to+3 but the printed page is saying section a to j -2 to +2.
Is there a easier way to calibrate the printer???

Hello,

thank you for your feedback!

Unfortunately this printer does not offer "automatic alignment", so it is necessary to print the pages and choose the best aligned fields.

"Best aligned" means that the stripes are least visible, the color of the field is almost solid.

There is a problem in the current driver so that numbers are shown instead of the characters:

97 = a
98 = b
...

This will be fixed in the next TurboPrint version.
