papersize in Ubuntu with Canon Pixma iP4700 (SOLVED)

Post by JASN »

Hi!

I've just bought Pixma iP4700 printer and TurpoPrint Pro.
Everything else seems to be working fine, except when i try to print
4"x6" photos. Even though i choose 4"x6"-paper in the configuration of TP,
the printer produces an A4-picture of which only a part is on the paper.
TurboPrint Status Monitor shows "Page size = A4".
Can anybody please help me with this issue?

Thanks

Hello,

you can set printer driver defaults in TurboPrint Control Center.

However, the page size must be set in the application program where you print your photos (only some programs respect the default page size set in TurboPrint Control Center).

Which program did you use to print photos?

We recommend GIMP with the TurboPrint print plugin (menu "TurboPrint...") - there is a page size selector in the print dialog.
