I have a HP CP 1700 inkjet printer and would like to know if this is planned to be supported??
For now i have to start a vitual machine with windows to print the fully supported 2400 DPI, comparede to Linux i am only able to print 600dpi

It would be grate if it could support the buildin network interface that i have in that printer, aswell.

The HP CP1700 is not supported directly, however it might work with the driver of the C5180 printer.
You can download and try the free 30-day demo version of TurboPrint. It works for 30 days without any limitations.
At least it is worth a try.
