Hi,

I'm testing TP 2 with the new ink support for i965.

I have just replaced magenta and cyan with new genuine ink. Turboprint-monitor shows 100% for M but only 40% for C !!

Do you have any idea why the ink level is not showing correctly on the new cartridge?

Hello primer,

the ink levels are reported by the printer, so you will probably also get the 40% level by any other driver. The problem must be related to a hardware defect, e.g. there might be a malfunction with the ink level prism in the cartridge.

Thanks for the reply.

I just ran it up again and those two inks are now showing full. I don't know what the mechanism of these prisms is but it looks like it takes some time for the new cartridge to settle in.
