Saving Settings

Post by sm1975 » Fri Aug 12, 2016 10:54 am

im running the trial version of PrintFab for Windows and i can see there is a way to save PageSize settings. But i cant see a way to save print settings like paper type, quality, colour. These keep getting reset to defaults and its frustrating manually setting them each time for print jobs.

hopefully i have just missed a save option somewhere?

Hello Shady,

the recommended way to create "print setting presets" is to add the same printer several times in the PrintFab application (create several print queues with different names, e.g. "<Printername> A4 Plain Paper", "<Printername> 4x6 Glossy Paper") and configure the print settings for these printer instances accordingly (button "Print Settings").

Actual "Presets" may be added in a future PrintFab version.
