How to print black without LK and LLK?

Post by borisboev »

Hello!
Could you please help me?
In Cmyk mode I want to use black ink only to print black channel, without LK and LLK inks.
Is it possible?
Thank you.

Hello,

yes, this should be possible but depends on the printer - which one do you have?

For Epson Stylus Pro & SureColor you can move the slider "Photo Inks" to "min" (printing preferences, tab "Ink Ctrl").

Thank you very much!
I`m using Epson SC-P600.
Does moving slider "Photo inks" to "min" will minimize all "light inks" or LLK and LK only?
Is it possible to exclude LLK and LK but to leave LC and LM as is?

The setting works for your Epson SureColor SC-P600 printer. This will minimize all light inks, it is currently not possible to exclude LK/LLK and use LC & LM.
