printfab problem

Post by bass98 »

Hi,
i maked my own profiles with I1 Pro 2, and everything works good when i put 1 picture to print

i have problem like this:
when i put for instance 6 prints 40x60cm in lightroom and i make print to output i get white lines on soft proof and the same on print so it's not a problem with preview, big pictures i must send one by one via photoshop

when i set up layout for 4 prints 15x23cm on 610mm roll and in job queue is 100 pictures (25 projects) everything works great, so problem must be somwhere in printfab with bigger pictures

Hello,

please excuse that there was no answer to your post yet  .

With most Epson printers it is possible to create something like a "Super Weave" mode by modifying a printer description file within PrintFab so that the printer uses more passes to produce the image which usually eliminates "banding" and other irregularities (if such a problem is currently visible in the highest print resolution).

Please let me know which printer you have and I will send you information how to modify the printer description file.

I have a problem epson b310n prints from a channel color by color black, cyan, magenta, yellow in a resolution of 2880dpi to 16 bits, there is a discrepancy in color when printing in the beginning works well after a simple run-out matching the color of the paper is 216x356mm - windows 7 from its epson program works perfectly well only in print fabu shoots the driver to solve the problem

Hello,

I understand that you have a problem with print quality and / or color quality. However, I do not understand what exactly is wrong.

Maybe you can send the original image / artwork (e.g. as a screen shot) and photos or scans of the printout (Epson driver / PrintFab driver) that illustrate the problem?

You can either post or send by email to mail (at) zedonet (dot) com

Hello,

can you describe the problem, e.g.

a) size is wrong
b) colors are not correct
c) colors don't align

and please send a photo of the document (screen) and of the print (paper).

You can also answer in your language and I will try to translate with google translate.

Thank you for sending the image.

I have three questions:

1. Are you actually printing the color channels in separate passes - e.g. you print the color black, then insert the paper again and print the color cyan, ...?

2. What was the orientation of your print - "portrait" (the hair was printed first, the body last) or "landscape" (like your screenshots)?

3. Is the alignment better if you feed the paper from the paper cassette or from the top feed?

1-Print black, then reload paper and print cyan ink, magenta yellow- YES--You can see the principle of work on you tube-ceramic waterslide printer
2-portrait-TOP FEED--paper is going to take off 216x356mm from the cassette
3-I can not print from the cassette
from the Epson program prints well
