Nozzle check

After the printer has run the nozzle check the printer shows an error and requires another sheet of paper to run the check again before the printer returns to normal. Is this a bug? Latest version of TurboPrint in Ubuntu 8.04.

The printer is an Epson Stylus Photo R300.
