Canon Pixma TS5150 Issue

Hello,

I have just downloaded Turboprint to try with a Canon Pixma TS5150. When adding the printer, I selected the Canon_PIXMA_TS5100series driver as this was the nearest I could see.

Printing does not appear to work at all, even with a test page. I see a message on the printer display saying Processing when I try a print, but no print ever appears and there are no apparent error messages on the printer. The printer is USB connected to my Ubuntu 16.04 PC.

The printer works OK when printing from my Android phone via wifi.

Should there be any issues when using a TS5150 with Turboprint?

Regards,

Colin

Hello,

a driver for the Canon PIXMA TS5150 printer is under development and will be available in the next TurboPrint release which is planned for November. The existing driver (Canon PIXMA TS5000 series) doesn't work for the TS5150.

I will post when the new driver is available.

Thanks. Will I be able to reset the evaluation period when that's released?

Colin
