No landscape printing on PIXMA PRO9000

Post by eichentamu »

Using the demo version 2.07 on openSUSE 11.1 with PIXMA PRO9000, I am unable to print in landscape position (no option seen to switch between portrait and landscape) and the result is an amputated picture...

I am really happy with the portrait printing and will buy TurboPrint as soon as landscape is enabled (on the GUI I hope?).

Hello,

the page orientation "portrait" / "landscape" is chosen in the application program, not in the printer driver configuration. From which program(s) did you try to print?

Landscape is not recognised in Inkscape and GIMP, but works in OOo.

GIMP:
in the GIMP print plugin for TurboPrint there is a "Portrait / Landscape" setting.

Inkscape:
The Gnome print dialog that is used by inkscape is incomplete on SuSE 11.1 - the page size and page orientation settings are missing. A workaround is to export the document as PDF and print it using a PDF viewer.
