Printing on Canon S330 from gedit

Hello,
Turboprint works fine on my computer, with Ubuntu 8.04, and various applications. One thing it won't do, however, is print from gedit. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

printing from gedit works well here - tested with TurboPrint 2.11 and Ubuntu 8.04.

You could mail the log files

/var/log/turboprint/print.log
/var/log/cups/error_log

after trying to print from gedit for closer investigation - send to

mail at zedonet dot de

(replace at with @ and dot with .).

Embarrassingly, and after the last exchange, it turned out that gedit was set to print only page 2... and so, since most of my printing from gedit concerns very short documents, I was getting a blank page. I'm posting this up as resolved, just in case somebody has made the same mistake as me!
