Canon Pixma Pro9000 stuck in B&W mode (Debian/AMD64)

Post by Graham Clark »

This happened around the same time as an upgrade from 2.10 to 2.15, but I don't know for sure that that caused it. The GUI printer monitor always reports it in B&W and the printing is in B&W, despite the settings in both the GUI program and tpconfig reporting it being in RGB. All the ink cartridges are full or nearly full.

Any help or ideas gratefully received.

Hello,

TurboPrint control center and tpconfig only set "defaults". In most application programs you can change these settings. Please check the settings in the application print dialog (e.g. in OpenOffice: button "Properties" -> tab "Device").

If the settings are already correct:

- from which application did you print?
- please post the log file /var/log/turboprint/print.log - section for last print job starting from "### new print job"
