Wide gamut color space

Hi,
I've just downloaded the Turboprint trial version for use with my Canon
Pixma Pro9000 mkii under Linux Mint, primarily for printing digital photos.
Everything running smooth so far. I would prefer to print in Adobe RGB or
ProPhotoRGB color spaces but understand that this might be a limitation for
Turboprint Pro. However, there is a "Wide RGB" color space available in my
trial version and is wondering if this color space is similar to e.g.
ProphotoRGB or REC 2020 or something ?

Hello,

Adobe RGB and ProPhoto RGB can only used with TurboPrint Studio. The ICC Profiles must be imported in TurboPrint Control, dialog "Profiles", tab "Color Spaces".

The color space "Wide RGB" in TurboPrint is a wide gamut color space similar to ProPhoto. For details see the specification of "Wide Gamut RGB" in Bruce Lindbloom's web site

Ok, thanks for your prompt response. It seems that I cannot do much wrong then by saving my images in Prophoto color space and print them with TurboPrint Pro using the wide gamut "Wide RGB" color space. This seems to be true from my provisional (not very scientific) test prints.
