Hi,
I am trying to print on a 4x6" photo paper put in the photo tray of an Epson PX820FWD.
I have the feed option to automatic but the photo is printed in the normal A4 paper.
Looking at
/usr/share/turboprint/printers/Epson_StylusPhotoPX820FWD.tpp
I see the lines
;[Feed1]
;Name=Photo Tray
;Param=1,0,258,0
Should I uncoment them? I am using turboprint 2.20.

Hello,
there is no such setting in the driver - the printer loaded smaller sheets like 4x6 inches / 10x15 cm automatically from the photo tray.
This is similar as in Epson's Windows driver, where the "Tray" setting is visible but fixed depending on the paper size setting.
From which application did you print?
Which paper size did you select?
Please also post the log file /var/log/turboprint/print.log after trying to print on a 4x6 photo card (post only section for last print job starting from "### new print job").

I forgot to tell that I have used okular and gwenview with the same results.

Could you please test what you suggested in your first post:
sudo tpsetup --update
so that the additional feed setting will also be available in application programs.
Finally, try to print from ocular or gwenview (select "Media source"="Photo Tray" in the application's print dialog).
Then executeI see the lines

Should I uncoment them?

After uncomenting the lines a Photo Tray option appears but the printing still is produced in the normal A4 paper.

For other users with the same problem:
The problem "4x6 / 10x15cm paper not fed from the photo tray" occurs only with the media setting "Epson Photo Glossy" and will be fixed in the next TurboPrint release.
To get TurboPrint version 2.21 and earlier working, use the patch described above.
