PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Re: PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Can I upgrade from version 2.91 to the latest version for no cost? I just recently upgraded to 2.91
Re: PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Generally you can activate a PrintFab version if your license is in the free-updates period. This period is normally 6 months or optionally 24 months if you chose this option when purchasing your license.
PrintFab 2.91 was released in February 2019, so your license is probably not valid for current PrintFab versions and you need a license update.

Re: PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Most software you purchase from other companies offers version updates at no cost when computer platforms change. To charge full price every time there is a update to your software is a real rip-off IMO. Not very consumer friendly.
Re: PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Thank you for your feedback. We have to work economically in order to be able to further develop the PrintFab software. We have decided against a subscription model, but unfortunately we cannot offer software updates free of charge.
The PrintFab license must be updated only if you want to use a new printer that is not yet supported by your version of PrintFab or if you update your Mac and the new macOS version needs larger changes in the printer driver architecture as it is the case with macOS 11 Big Sur.
The update does not cost full price but approx. 60% of the original license price.

Re: PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Hello, we have not yet tested the TM-200 - probably it will work with the TM-300 driver but we do not know if there are any other differences besides the smaller printing width.
If you are interested, you can just download the free 30-day trial version of PrintFab. It works without any limitations for 30 days, so you can see if everything works as expected with the TM-300 driver.
In case you should try, please let me know your results.

Is 2.95 comparable with Ventura?
Re: PrintFab 2.95 with support for macOS 11 Big Sur
Hello, PrintFab 2.95 is not compatible with macOS 13 Ventura, you need the current PrintFab version 2.98.
