I created a couple of new paper profiles but they did not show in the application when I went to use them.
Going back to the printer control they don't show there. And if I create a new one and add in the ICC file it shows until I exit the control panel and go back in and its not there.
Looking at /usr/share/turboprint/profiles its still showing the directory and files with the date of install, nothing seems to have been updated.
New paper profiles not being stored
Re: New paper profiles not being stored
Hello Andy,
this sounds like a known problem - changes in the TurboPrint configuration cannot be stored due to problems with file permissions in newer Linux distributions. This has been solved in TurboPrint versions higher than 2.49-1. Ill write you by email regarding updates.

Re: New paper profiles not being stored
Thanks for your reply and email.
2.49.1 fixed it.
Is there a reason to update to the latest? Or only if I get a new printer that needs support?
Much appreciated.
Andy

Re: New paper profiles not being stored
If t works, you need to update only if you get a new printer.
