Can the Canon ip7250 printer be used wirelessly under linux with Turboprint? I know it is supported via USB with the later versions of TP.

Re: Canon ip7250
I now have my IP7250 and it is working fine as a USB printer but I would like to see if it is possible to get it working as a network (wireless) printer using Turboprint.
Can you please tell me if this is possible and if so what do I have to do to set it up correctly?

Hello,
printing should also work over a wireless network.
First make sure that the printer is properly logged in to the WiFi network and find out the printer's IP address in the printer's setup menu. Then open TurboPrint Control and add a new printer. On some Linux distributions the printer will automatically be detected, on others you must set it up manually with the settings
Connection type="Other"
URI = "bjnp://<ip-address>"
(replace <ip-address> by the actual ip address)
