IP3000 multiple sheet on 1 page. Debian

Post by patrickfromspain »

Hi there!

I'm trying turboprint, and I have a little problem. I use both ubuntu edgy eft and debian etch.

On the features I like most, is the fact that I can print 2 sheets on one page. While in ubuntu it works well, in Etch it doesn't. Even more: if I choose draft quality and grayscale in ubuntu, and then in GPDF (or gedit, or some gnome app) I select 2 pages on one sheet (not double sided) I'll get a draft quality grayscale paper with 2 sheet on one side.

On the other hand Debian etch, oversees turboprint's values.... it will just print with normal quality and in colour mode, without paying attention on what I set in xtpconfig, and without doing the 2 sheets per page. I've tried to compile cups, and that doesn't help. The only way to get quality down and 2 pages per sheet so far is going to the cups admin page and setting bad quality and double sided printing, which I don't like.

Any ideas?
