DX 4400

The new version of turboprint should support the epson dx4400.
I can't use this printer even with turboprint , has anyone succeed with this model ?

No although this is claimed to be in the package in 1.96 Its not actually listed, and trying the driver for the similar DX4450 I have no luck whatsoever. If anyone can get a DX 4400 working under ubuntu then please post.

Hello,

a driver for Epson Stylus DX4400 had been added in TurboPrint 1.96 in the assumption that it is compatible with DX4450. The driver has been removed in the current version 1.96-3 because we got reports that the printer switches itself off when a print job is sent (instead of printing). No explanation or solution is known.
