Installation of Turboprint onto my Ubuntu 12 installation went as planned, installation of the printer went as planned. However, my ink reading has been at 40% for the last two months. I don't know if Linux and/or Turboprint uses a different ink spray algorithm or something versus Windows, but it seems a little odd to me that I have printed almost 200 pages and the ink has not gone down at all. I was just wondering if there is a reset I need to perform on the software or the printer or what...

Any advice, solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

The "Info" tab of TurboPrint Monitor shows the ink amount as reported by the printer. Many Canon printers don't report actual percent values but only larger levels ("full", "half", "reserve", "empty"). Canon's Windows printer driver will show the same ink amounts.
