Printing from Quark 9 - missing ppd file

:)
hello I have just reinstalled Print Fab on my new Mac.

I am printing using an Epson StylusPhotoR2400.

I am trying to print a document from QuarkXpress v9.3.1.1, on my old mac (still using the same version of Quark) in the print dialogue box - device options - PPD: I used to be able to select a specific ppd file from the drop down list - there were hundreds of print fab files in the list - now I have no files called print fab?

There is a listing for my printer, but it doesn't say print fab after it, is this the correct ppd file or should there be a listing for Epson StylusPhotoR2400 (Print Fab) like there used to be on my old machine?

Many thanks

Steve

Hello,

the correct PPD file should end on "... (PrintFab)".

The PPD files for all printers that are currently set up in OS X can be found in the system directory "/etc/cups/ppd".
This is a hidden system directory, use the finder menu command "Go to folder ..." and enter "/etc/cups/ppd" to open this directory.

I think you can configure QuarkXPress to look into this directory instead of /library/printers/PPDs/...
