Using Canon MG7120 printer on wireless connection with Ubuntu on an Intel Mac. Printer works fine on the Mac side and previously worked with a different printer on Ubuntu. Two changes, first we reinstalled Ubuntu due to a conflict and second I have a new printer. Now,using the MG7100 series setup, the Printer Monitor Preview on the right scrolls down and finishes the page display and shows job finished 1 page. Yet, no page emerges. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Don Bray

Hello,

if print jobs are reported as completed by TurboPrint Monitor ("0 Jobs" are visible in the print queue after printing) but the printer didn't print anything, please check if you are using the current TurboPrint version 2.32 - there was a problem in the MG7120 driver in the earlier version 2.31. If you have the older TurboPrint version 2.31, please download & install the current version 2.32.

If this doesn't solve the problem, please check your network settings:

First make sure that the printer is properly logged in to the WiFi network and find out the printer's IP address in the printer's setup menu. Then open TurboPrint Control and open the "edit printer" dialog. The connection should be set to "Canon MG7100series - BJNP". On some Linux distributions the printer will automatically be detected, on others you must set it up manually with the settings

Connection type="Other"
URI = "bjnp://<ip-address>"

(replace <ip-address> by the actual ip address)
