People can't get Turboprint to work in Ubuntu Gutsy. This is due to the inclusion of AppArmor.

The bug is known to the Ubuntu developers. Bug report at Launchpad can be found here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/133818

I just wanted to post this here, as I do not know if the Turboprint creaters are aware of this and if it does involve them making changes to Turboprint.

I have just installed the gutsy beta released yesterday, then installed turboprint and setup my printer. It works fine, I have just printed out a borderless 4x6 photo on my Canon IP5300 using the turboprint driver.

hello, same problem here..

maybe we need to add turboprint to a whitelist?

and if that is true, how?
