Hi, I am having a strange problem since getting my ip4300, it prints fine on A4 but, when I try to print to a CD/DVD using the disc holder it either prints 1/4 of the disc, ejects the disc and sits there doing nothing, SO I replace the disc back in the printer and it starts printing another 1/4 of the picture in the same place as it printed last time :(

When I had a Epson R220 it printed FINE on CD/DVD's but the head stopped working so had to replace it .

IF I chose CD (Paper) and CD (Tray) it spits out the cd and trys to print from the top sheet feeder :(

Has any one got any suggestions or Ideas on what to do.

BTW I am running PCLOS with the latest turboprint (I Know it is as I just downloaded it today !!)

Ta for the help in advance

Hello,

a possible explanation is that you print the image from command line using

lp -d <print queue> <image filename>

CUPS has a sort of "poster mode" for command line printing - if the image doesn't fit on the page it is printed in several sections.

From which application did you print?
