We have this printer connected to a Linksys print server on a small network. Windows and Linux machines can print to it with no problem.
No luck with the one machine running os x panther.
Any ideas on how to make this work?
Canon Pixma ip3500 - Mac Panther
Hello,
this should work with PrintFab.
The PrintFab driver must be set up from Mac OS X "Printer Setup Utility" for network printers - see the PrintFab PDF manual, chapter 6.
Choose "IP-browser" and "socket/jetdirect" protocol, enter ip address of the Linksys server.
Then choose "Canon PrintFab" as manufacturer and "Canon iP3300 PrintFab" as printer (the iP3500 driver will be added in the next release).
Please try with our 30 day PrintFab trial version available on www.printfab.net.
