The Epson Surecolor P800 is listed as a medium format printer, which can print at 17" wide and takes roller paper. It's a relatively new printer, and when I saw that Turboprint was supporting it, I was able to negotiate a purchase with my house boss.
I've only had it for a week, but I thought I'd give some feedback:
Turboprint does exactly what it does best, and the initial prints look very good. This printer has a steeper learning curve than with the Canon Pro-100, but getting larger prints is where I'm headed.
I recommend a head alignment as soon as the P800 is set up. I got some banding, and after tuning the head alignment, I shifted to a higher print density (1440), and it's looking impressive.
I have some Epson paper to buy, before I do bigger tests (as I right now, I'm using compatible Red River paper and some Canon Luster).
Really glad to have Turboprint !
