Windows network printing problem from Leopard
I have updated my system to Leopard and it delisted my Canon MP730 Printer from the printer list. I am not able to add network printer using the previous printfab driver. Can you advise?
Hello,
you may have to reinstall PrintFab after upgrading to Leopard.
When PrintFab is properly installed, it should be no problem to add the driver again in OS X system prefs, section "printer & fax", button "+". Choose the network protocol (similiar as in OS X 10.4) and choose the driver (e.g. enter "Canon PrintFab" and select the driver from the list).

Thanks but did not work
I tried to re-install the Printfab driver and choose and option of Windows printer. It asks well the network passwords (though could not remember the passwords and asks it every printing time again) and gives a following error:
/usr/libexec/cups/backend/smb failed ( I use Canon MP730 PrintFab)
IP printing to IR2800 works ok.
