Canon iP4500 CD Printing - Centre Hole Alignment Problem

Post by llary »

I am trying to print CDs using OpenOffice, Canon iP4500 & registered copy of TurboPrint. Surprisingly the speed and quality are even better than the original Windows drivers but there is one problem - the centre hole is somehow misaligned within Turboprint.

If I print a CD with a colour background the edges of the CD are masked out okay but the centre hole is off by around 4mm. I have tried moving the entire background in OpenOffice but the centre hole is still masked out in exactly the same place. I tried printing from Windows and the alignment was perfect.

Is there some way I can change this centre hole alignment? I don't mind editing PPD files if necessary.

I found the problem was in the OpenOffice template. I have made my own PDF template and now it works fine.
