backchannel error

My Canon MX725 "prints" only blank sheets and it results into the error "failed to read backchannel data: Operation now in progress." According to a similiar topic I replaced the original bjnp file by turboprints version, but it resulted into the same error, too. Do you have any further hints?

Hello,
if the printer only ejects blank pages, the wrong printer driver might be selected.
Please check the following
- your version of TurboPrint (TurboPrint Control -> dialog "About / License")?
- your version of bjnp -Terminal window, command
/usr/lib/cups/backend/bjnp -v
- is the correct driver "Canon_PIXMA_MX720series" selected (TurboPrint Control -> right column "driver")?
- does the printer print when you attach it via USB?
