Color Space question

I am using TurboPrint 2 with Gimp. When I convert RAW files I usually (but not always) end up with a Kodak ProPhoto RGB file. I can convert it to sRGB before printing or I can adapt the Color Space in TurboPrint's Color Tab.

Is there a way to make TurboPrint automatically detect the color space (it is embedded in the file anyway)?

Hello Hans,

with TurboPrint 2 Studio you can add and use new color spaces. If you have an ICC profile of the Kodak ProPhoto color space, you will not need to convert it to sRGB before printing. Just select this color space in TurboPrint - the colors will be interpreted correctly then.

Unfortunately embedded color spaces are not passed to the printer driver by CUPS - so there is currently no possibility to select the correct color space automatically .

OK, that's what I wanted to know. Thanks for the information.
