blank test page on Canon IP1300

I install the printer driver on Fedora 6. Add the printer all is fine. When I do a test page a blank page is spit out quickly.
Any ideas what is wrong.

Please excuse the problem!
The driver currently only works if
- both black and color cartridge are present in the printer
or
- a different "Paper" setting than "Plain paper" is chosen in TurboPrint Config / xtpconfig (e.g. "Inkjet Paper")
I will post when a corrected version is available.
