TurboPrint & PrintFab

I am testing TurboPrint 1.95 with various Ubuntu 8.10 derivatives - #!crunchbang linux, OzOS, Xubuntu, Linux Mint, etc. Printing works fine when printing a test page, but I am able to print anything from a word processor or any of the small GUI notepad style editors such as Mousepad, Leafpad, etc.

Is this a TurboPrint issue or an Ubuntu derivatives issue?

TurboPrint 1.x is no longer actively supported by us and TurboPrint 2.x runs fine on Ubuntu 8.10.

Nevertheless you can send the logfile /var/log/turboprint_cups.log after a failed print - post the section for the last printout or email to mail at zedonet de - if it is a simple problem we may be able to provide a solution.
