I have just been refilling the ink tanks of my ip4600, but for some reason the Reset ink counters in the ControlCenter/Edit tab does not do anything.
Turboprint keeps warning about low ink levels, even though I managed to override that the printer wouldn't print. So I am actually able to print, I was just wondering if there is a way to get rid of the low ink warning...
I know it's a minor annoyance...
PIXMA IP4600 Reset ink counters
Hello,
this is "normal" behaviour:
The option "reset ink counters" in TurboPrint Control does not reset the ink counters in the printer (or in the ink cartridges).
It only resets TurboPrint Monitor's ink usage counters (a software approximation of the ink coverage of printed pages) - see the TurboPrint PDF manual, page 69 for details.
There is no command available to reset the printer's ink counters - after refilling the cartridges, the printer still thinks the cartridges are empty.
