Hello,

the printer monitor must be closed manually, it does not close automatically at the end of a job. As the printer status is checked periodically when TurboPrint Monitor is opened, your printer probably does not switch off.
However, in the options of TurboPrint Monitor you can select not to open the monitor automatically every time a job is printed.

thank for you answer, but is it possible not to check every x second the statute of the printer, but just one time when a job started ?

Or is it possible to do a script which close the printer monitor after x minute without any job ?

Hello,

as long as TurboPrint Monitor is open it is expected to show the current printer status. As the status can change anytime, it must be checked repeatedly.
Why don't you just close the window after a job is printed or deactivate "open monitor on print job" option?
