TurboPrint 2.50 with new printer drivers
Re: TurboPrint 2.50 with new printer drivers
Hello,
I have just install the 2.50 version (Manjaro Linux with KDE TP applet) and TurboPrint Monitor is not launched at printing as it should (I always preview before sending to printer). Preview is selected on TP Monitor.
If I start Monitor from the applet, it works the very first time, when closing the window, it refuses to open again using the applet, but I can open it using TurboPrint Control.
Any clue to solve?
Regards,
Iñigo.

Re: TurboPrint 2.50 with new printer drivers
Hello,
thank you for your problem report.
No such problems with TurboPrint Monitor have been noticed by us or have been reported to us for the current TurboPrint version 2.50.
Is this problem new for TurboPrint 2.50, i.e. was TurboPrint 2.49 working properly on the same version of Manjaro Linux?
Which version of Manjaro Linux do you use?

Re: TurboPrint 2.50 with new printer drivers
I downloaded and installed Manjaro 20.0.3 today, this should be the current version.
hostnamectl shows "Kernel Linux 5.6.19-2-MANJARO" which is a different kernel version, however TurboPrint should not depend on the kernel version.
Before installation of TurboPrint, I had to install the GTK-2 libraries. Then installation went smoothly and TurboPrint Monitor was launched at printing without problems.
Did you download & install TurboPrint as .tgz archive from our website turboprint.info?

Yes, downloaded from official site.
I just installed it over the previous version.

Re: TurboPrint 2.50 with new printer drivers
It looks like removing TP completely and reinstalling it has solve the issue.
Now I have to recreate all my paper profiles an custom paper sizes.
