Canon Selphy DS810

Hi folks,
Setup under Hawking Tech RJ-45/USB print setvers, a Canon PXMIA iP1700 which works fine under TurboPrint, and a Canon Selphy DS810 photo printer, of which there is no TurboPrint drivers or CUPS drivers in existence, that I can find.
Any chance of adding this Canon Selphy DS810 any time in the future? Or is there an esisting TurboPrint driver that might just work fine with it (if so, please do point me to the name to look for)?
Photo printing seemd like kind of a neat thing to do, I'd sure hate to be confined to just Windows for using it...

(running openSuse 10.1 desktop and openSuse 10.2 on laptop, and ashamed to admit Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002 SP2+)
