Thanks again for your response. I think I have it all figured out and it is something to consider for any quality printing.
I contact the ink supplier and explained what was happening. He stated that it was the quality of the refillable ink cartridge. The inexpensive ones, like I had purchased, have poor quality ink sponge in them that dont allow for proper flow of ink out. I purchased another set of better quality cartridge and have been printing fine. Hopefully this information will be useful to someone else that may be having issues. Get the correct ink for your printer and quality ink cartridges.
