Epson XP-7100 Borderless Printing

I cannot get borderless 4"x6" prints on an Epson XP-7100. It seems to scale the image for the full page, but the printer clips the borders. I am using TurboPrint 2.49-1 on Ubuntu 18.04, and connect via USB cable. I think the printer has the latest firmware updates.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

we recommend to try borderless printing first from the GIMP TurboPrint print plugin. In GIMP you can open the TurboPrint print plugin via the pulldown menu "TurboPrint..." (instead of "Print...").

In the TurboPrint print plugin, select the page size "Borderless 4x6" and click on the button "Borderless Image Size" to scale & position the image. Then print and check if the image is printed without a white border on any side.

If that doesn't work, please send the TurboPrint log file /var/log/turboprint/print.log by email to mail (at) zedonet (dot) com and refer to this post.

Thank you, using the GIMP TurboPrint print plugin mostly works: I had to use the borderless check-box in TurboPrint settings -> Layout, and then set borderless printing in the plugin. Both need to be selected.

And also turn off duplx printing in TurboPrint settings.
