Uneven halftones

Hi All, I have an issue when printing halftones to film. Flat tints are uneven. Any ideas?

Hello, can you please send more information:

* your printer model
* driver settings:
- media type
- print quality
- halftone mode (single black / multi black, "pre-rastered" option or not)
- halftone size and angle
- which multi black cartridges are enabled
* ink cartridge set used (original manufacturer ink / single UV black / all black inkset)

I'm at home now so I can't tell you the exact settings but the media I'm using is film.
The halftone mode is Multi but similar results when set with single black.
From memory the halftone size is set to default and the angle doesn't seem to change things.
I'm printing a CMYK + base + hi white set. Obviously the solid print for the base and hi white are fine. But the halftone print for each colour has the variations.
All cartridges are enabled as I use this as a screen print film output printer, using an all black inkset.

I'll get back to you tomorrow with ALL the correct answers.

Oh and halftone size would be somewhere between 45 & 55.
